I must say I've been delighted with how the BBC have included many retold stories of Robin Hood. For example the scene where he saves the innocent men at the gallows, a lot like the story where Robin saves the widow's sons, and when he finds out who the Nightwatchman is, a lot like the ballad 'Robin and Marian'.
