how great was the last two episodes? i really enjoyed them they seemed well written compared to some other episodes earlier in the series. anyone else think
so?

With the exception of a few gaping holes, not bad. Shame they had to kill off almost everyone but left Kate alive. I found Robin's death and reunion with
Marian pretty sappy, though.

The finale was better than many episodes this season.
Oddly, I could imagine another series without Jonas Armstrong, but not another one without Richard Armitage. I wasn't a big fan of Kate. I'm tired of the adjective "feisty" being a substitute for character. But that's more a comment on the writing than the acting. [By the way, were any of this season's producers a writer/producer like Minghella was?] David Harewood's Tuck, I like. He was given some dopey lines, but he did the best he could. And aside from Little John, he was the only adult in that gang. Allen |

There is justice in this world after all. The BBC will not be producing a fourth series. It would all be rather pointless with all the main players
gone.
I would not have minded a series built around the Archer character and set in the same period, but I would want it to stand on its own without attempting to channel the Robin Hood legends.
