The biggest is an interview with Michael Cadnum, author of the novels In a Dark Wood and Forbidden Forest. In a Dark Wood has a positive portrayal of the sheriff, and yes it's a bit of tie-in with the film currently in the news.

In the What's New section, I link to some articles about the film Nottingham. Which I suspect everyone here has already talked about.Of course, there are delays due to possible strikes, the wrong colour of leaves and -- most believably -- script problems. (There's a link from an October 2007 news update to a review of the first draft of the script. And even Scott's recent interviews suggest that he's not that keen on being historical.) And yes, apparently Crowe will play both the sheriff and Robin. They've denied that it will have a Fight Club-like reveal of split personalities. (I suspect that was the plan, but if it was they won't do it now since everyone guessed it.) Crowe seems a little reluctant about the movie now. So, who knows what's going to happen with it?
And finally, there's a new book of Robin Hood scholarship out called Bandit Territories which includes my conference paper from the 1999 Robin Hood conference (along with other papers from that conference and other places). Unfortunately, the article is credited to Allan W. Wright -- whoever that is. (My name is spelled correctly on the contributor's bio and in the index.) People who get their name misspelled on a daily basis will know how annoying this is.
My article is on 1950s Robin Hood comics and how the legend was adapted to fit the code governing the industry at the time which included provisions like authority figures had to be respected, criminals could never prosper, etc. Other articles include Stephen Knight and Tom Hahn on the gay themes in the legend, Stephen Knight on Scottish Robin Hood traditions, articles on Welsh bandits, Walter Scott, film and television versions.
There are links on the What's New page for ordering it online. Just in case anyone's had a rich uncle die recently and can afford academic book prices.
