OK, so it's only distantly Robin Hood-related, in that Hereward the Wake was among the figures who've influenced the Robin Hood saga over the
centuries. But that's a good enough excuse.

Well, here's hoping, but if this makes me famous it won't be as an historian (should have made clear in the original post: it's a novel). The
thesis may yet take care of academic fame, if I ever finish the damn thing...

As a matter of fact I don't know how it's going, because for some reason Amazon sales aren't showing up in my Lulu account. It's not just that nobody's buying it, because I bought one through Amazon myself to test this and Lulu didn't record the sale. So the sales will remain a mystery until I get my next payment from Lulu. |

Hi Marcus... Just wanted to say I quite enjoyed your novel, finished it in just a couple of sittings. Very nice atmospheric and convincing portrayal of Norman
England. I liked the pagan/heathen elements you used, and I'm quite as glad that you didn't go over the top in that regard. Nice balance, and I will
be just as happy to buy the sequels. I posted a review on Lulu, where I certainly recommend it, noting only a few small quibbles. Well done! (And when's
