In my mind, I kept hearing Richard Greene (in "The Dream") telling Bernadette O'Farrell to "never stop dreaming." And of course, I also thought of Anna's wonderful sketchbook! I'm way too attached to the '50s series! "I'd like to be a pessimist, but that is a luxury I cannot afford." Mother Hubbard Queen of the Grammar Hammers

Do you think they deliberately borrowed the idea from The Adventures, or was it a coincidence? Im very happy that you like my drawings I mean it! But I have a feeling that some visitors to our website find them rather obscure To make things absolutely clear, Im planning to add a front cover, with the title Never Stop Dreaming, or Robin of Locksley in the Holy Land.

Robin stilll gets on my nerves, I thought he and his gang behaved rather obnoxiously every time someone got caught in that stupid trap. Why did Edward leave behind Marian's dagger? He must have known it would incriminate her. At least Marian is out of the Sheriff's hands.

I thought the trap was kind of stupidespecially since it allows strangers to wander into the outlaws' camp and thus know its location! On the whole, though, I thought the episode was pretty good, and Much came off exceptionally wellno jokes at his expenseand he was in many ways more forward-thinking than the others. I also had an issue with the Sheriff's guards simply breaking ranks to go after the money. Made absolutely no sense to me. "I'd like to be a pessimist, but that is a luxury I cannot afford." AnnaI've found a lot of references to The Adventures in the new series, and not just bits that relate to canon aspects of the legend in general. After all, we have a Robin who's brought back Muslim technology (think "The Sheriff's Boots"); takes only part of the money from those he robs (Greene took half [but he did feed the "victims"]; Armstrong takes a tenth); and doesn't kill unless pushed to do so. In fact, Guy's attempts to protect/shelter Marian at the end of the latest episode reminded me of "Trial By Battle" when the Sheriff offered to marry Marian (at the cost of her lands and freedom) to protect her from the executioner. I don't know how old the folks who produce the current series are, but I wouldn't be surprised if a few are of the right age to remember The Adventures and pay light homage. It reminds me of the computer game "Robin Hood, Legend of Sherwood" where Robin has the ability to distract guards by throwing them a purse. Maybe that's where the writers got the idea.
