I've loved the photos Allen, Presterjohn, Graham and others have provided on Sherwood forest.
Since I'm (eventually) planning a trip to Robin Hood country, I'm wondering what Sherwood forest is like. I've heard different things from people; that is is more like a park these days, but the great Oak still stands and the forest is still beautiful to behold. I'd appreciate further descriptions of the forest.
